Background
This site was humbly introduced to reflect the author's many year fascination with DALEKS (also to a slighly lesser extent; Cybermen and Doctor Who generally).
AS I get frustrated with websites which don't actually say, on the homepage, what it's all about, here it is: the purpose of it all!
I have created a number of 3D images, featuring Daleks, as artwork and this site showcases these efforts. As an added distraction, I also meander into musings about Dalek voices, which together with the superb Raymond Cusick design, make the Daleks the icons they have been for the last 40+ years!
Having been trying to draw Daleks for as long as memory allows (at home, at school, at work, etc.), the relatively recent advent of 3D software has allowed me to, at last, fully indulge these dubious fantasies.
This site - recently relaunched after a year long hiatus, is now ten!! (gasp!) years old and updated from time to time, more in recent (last 3 years) times with the Daleks return to BBC. Most of the 10 year old stuff has now been replaced. If you have a burning desire to see any of this history or you have any other comments or suggestions, please direct comments to yours truly, Steve Redfearn via the contact form

This Cinema 4D model was created entirely from photographs and has been painstakingly corrected over the years as errors were found and removed . It should look better now after all the effort.
I have to say that I think this Dalek, (1965 vintage, as featured in "The Chase") was the best! Reasons:
- Solar Slats had been added after the first two series' basic metal bands which gave the Dalek an appearance of "completeness.".
- Original silver & blue colour scheme - the best! (even on black and white TV.)
- Still in good condition (the props in the 70's became pretty beaten up with time and use)
- Still "original equipment" Note particularly the gun and the eye details plus the neat vertical slats on the head. As the props got older, all of these things again, got replaced with cheaper, more functional bits which didn't look as good.
Anyway, I digress! Having got the basic model looking right, it is therefore relatively easy to modify it to create any type of Dalek desired, for example:
